An Overview of The Role
Our Cloud Transformation Advisory Services enables our clients to transform their business and unlock the value of cloud. We provide value-centric cloud advisory services with sector-specific expertise. Our deep skills in cloud strategy, orchestration, operating models, and cloud economics complimented by global resources help guide clients in their cloud journey and deliver business results. Our cloud advisory capability is part of the wider Enterprise Transformation capability and works closely with other Invent capabilities.
This is a high impact role in the Cloud Transformation capability unit contributing to strategic proposals, drive client engagement, secure new business opportunities, and mentor a high-performing team to support consulting practice growth.

As Senior Consultant in the business you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Key expectations from this role include:
Advise clients on the impact of cloud transformation, helping them develop and implement new digitally enabled business models that leverage cloud operating models. Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for improvement. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of cloud operating model transformations, adjusting as needed to ensure success. Deliver digitally enabled business outcomes using your skills in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping and organisational design. Work and communicate with all levels of an organisation to collaboratively innovate, design, and implement cloud transformations. Bring an acute sense of market trends and the challenges facing our clients, to deliver lasting and sustainable organisation transformations. Contribute to the growth and success of a top-tier consulting practice including our market offers, knowledge and the overall strategic goals of the practice.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
Business Development– Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
Internal Contribution– Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
Learning & Development– Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
We'd Love To Meet Someone With
You’ll bring experience in transforming businesses through technology and re-defining the way clients operate. Comfortable at working in a technology-driven environment, you will bring proven skills and experience in some of the following areas
Proven experience in managing operating model transformations with ability to work internal & external stakeholders Experience of delivering business outcomes through your consulting skills to develop cloud operating models utilising agile and lean principles as well as process flow mapping Understanding of how how operations, architecture and organisational design need to change for cloud operations to be set up successfully Practical experience with ITILv4 best practices and frameworks, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Desk operations An ITILv4 Foundation or higher-level certification demonstrating formal training and understanding of ITIL processes will be highly valued Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring that cloud environments are secure and adhere to industry standards and regulations Experience in implementing platform based operating models & designing organisation structures that enables to enhance cloud value Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor. Experience in developing and implementing tailored client engagement strategies aligned with business objectives. Evidence of having successfully delivered and led advisory engagements, driving positive outcomes and developing opportunities to deliver follow-on work Experience in leading and supporting sales efforts, as well as shaping deal and engagement commercials Evidence of managing teams, including multiple workstreams in complex delivery environments
Nice to have skills
• Some understanding and experience with DevOps principles and practices
• Understanding of different elements of a cloud adoption strategy including the structure and functions within a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE)
