We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected advanced manufacturing business based in the Gloucestershire area, currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and evolve a broad-ranging logistics function within a complex and fast-paced production environment.

This is a key leadership role with end-to-end responsibility across warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, export compliance, internal movements, and material handling operations-with a focus on driving inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and continuous improvement.

The Role
As Logistics Manager, you'll oversee and develop a multi-functional team including logistics supervisors, outbound coordinators, and warehouse operatives. Your remit will cover:

Leading and managing daily logistics and warehousing activities
Driving improvements in OTIF, inventory control, and shipping process adherence
Overseeing export compliance and trade regulation standards
Managing internal logistics, racking systems, off-site warehousing, and the MHE fleet
Supporting the introduction of new products/processes from a logistics standpoint
Ensuring safe, efficient storage and movement of materials
Utilising ERP (preferably IFS) to maintain data integrity and performance reporting
Embedding best practice across logistics systems, processes, and team development
Playing a key role in audits, continuous improvement, and strategic planning
About You
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on logistics leader who brings:

Significant logistics management experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of ERP systems - IFS or similar preferred
A deep understanding of trade compliance (import/export)
Leadership experience managing teams in warehouse and logistics functions
A methodical, structured approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge of racking compliance and ideally a qualified racking inspector or FLT trainer
You'll be someone who leads from the front, develops others, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
