• A premier global hedge fund with a dedicated digital assets division focused on building secure, efficient infrastructure for institutional-grade blockchain and crypto investments is looking to hire aData Engineering Leadto join their core trading and technology team.

About the Role

• As aData Engineering Lead, you’ll drive the development of post-trade reporting, analytics, and end-of-day risk infrastructure. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll lead a team of five engineers, ensuring robust operational processes and building workflow automation to support Risk, Operations, and related teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Lead of the digital assets division, overseeing post-trade reporting and end-of-day risk processes.
• Drive workflow automation for Risk, Operations, and related functions.
• Deliver robust, efficient, and deterministic operations for intra-day positions, risk, and P&L.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, define requirements, and set priorities.

Required:

• 7+ years with Python, Java, Kotlin, or Rust; 3+ years in financial services.
• Expertise with Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and finance-related datasets.

Preferred:

• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, Docker.
