Position Overview

Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

This role is to join our team to support the analysis and design work for the future state of Credit Risk and remediation of regulatory findings.

The scope of work encompasses, business and functional analysis across credit processes, operating model, workflows, core credit data, reference data, analytics, reporting.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end data analysis, including the alignment of newly sourced data, checks during the different process steps and analysis of the reported data. You will also be responsible for covering a detailed understanding of the business content, data requirements and workflow requirements as well as their conceptual and functional representation including strategic data sourcing and modelling within the corresponding systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the process analysis and design for core credit processes and controls
  • Business architecture – responsible for operating model analysis and design
  • Investigation of data in core credit systems and in source systems, analysis of data issues and root cause, definition of data requirements both business and functional, ensuring alignment with bank data standards

Your Skills And Experience

  • Knowledge of credit risk in terms of exposure, limits, risk mitigants and risk metrics
  • Good understanding of core credit workflows
  • Good understanding of data processes and controls
  • Strong business and functional analysis skills
  • Strong Excel skills for analysis of data sets
  • Use of and understanding of SQL and Python an advantage
