Location:Remote, London

About the Role

Due to the very high number of experienced applicants, we have adjusted the role so that any new applicants are within a lower band of 2-5 years experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, cleanse, cut, and analyse product, commercial, and public data to identify product gaps, data gaps, and commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and iterate on a proprietary Excel model used to analyse products.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Find automated or efficient workarounds to reduce manual effort.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to Head of Sales Enablement and other stakeholders through dashboards and reports.
  • Document assumptions, acknowledge limitations, and track takeaways from analyses and internal discussions.

What we need from you

  • 2-5 years of experience as a data analyst with experience analysing business data, or in a comparable role such as a financial analyst.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, ideally in Retail/eCommerce industry.
  • Experience building complex financial or data models in Excel.
  • Expertise in Excel including the use of hotkeys, shortcuts, and complex functions.
  • Expertise in Google Sheets preferred but not required.
  • Scripting and experience in other programs such as SQL is a plus, but not required.
  • Extreme attention to detail and sense of ownership, with ability to handle a large amount of responsibility quickly and independently.
  • Interest in analysing food, supplement, cosmetic, and tech data, with a willingness to learn the details of product regulations in each industry.
  • Project management experience and organisation skills.
  • Remote preferred.
