I.T Support engineer required for a manufacturer & distributor of hydraulic equipment based in Nottingham. The ideal candidate for this position will either be a graduate or already be in a junior I.T position. This role is fully office based.

I.T Support Engineer Job Overview

Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Monitor and maintain company networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks to ensure data integrity and system performance.
Assist in managing the company's cloud-based services (e.g., Office 365, ERP systems).

I.T Support Engineer Job Requirements

New computer software builds (Windows and macOS)
Computer repairs and upgrades (Mac and Windows)
Office 365 use, troubleshooting and support
Backup and security skills/knowledge (local, network and cloud)
Relational database use and development (FileMaker and/or MySQL would be preferred)
A working level of programming (PHP and web would be advantageous)

Advantageous, but not required skills

C#, C++ and/or Flutter
eCommerce experience
A working knowledge of Cyber Essentials
Networking software configuration and hardware

I.T Support Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary- £25,000- £30,000
