The Role

Your role will be to work with our customers as part of a consulting team to understand the customers current landscape, draw conclusions, and develop actionable insights to support decision-making processes. You will play a pivotal role in guiding engagements with our customers, taking a deep dive into their current IT landscapes to identify areas for modernization and optimisation.

Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth through the formulation and execution of strategic technology initiatives, to deliver tangible results for our customers. Working in close collaboration with both customers and internal teams, you will support customers in the development of business cases that support the adoption of innovative solutions, particularly for journey to cloud. By leveraging your knowledge of cloud hyperscalers and modern IT technologies you will help customers choose informed resolutions and design optimal technology strategies tailored to their unique needs and objectives.

This is an IT strategy consultant role within the strategy consulting team that provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse mix of large and complex customer projects. You will also have the opportunity to work with Kyndryl customers across multiple industries, including some of the world’s largest multinational companies. You will work closely with our customers, our Kyndryl teams, our cloud partners, and our 3rd party service providers. You will join the Kyndryl Consultant profession, working closely with Kyndryl Data Scientists, Project Managers, and technical subject matter experts. You will create innovative solutions through an analysis of our customers current IT landscape to develop a modernization strategy and roadmap that will drive our customers forward.

Who you are: 
As an accomplished Technology Consultant, you have honed your skills in supervising engagements, conducting in-depth analyses of IT landscapes, and formulating strategic modernization recommendations. Your passion for cloud technologies, coupled with relevant certifications distinguishes you as an expert in the industry. Your experience in supporting business case development and your proven track record of advising and guiding successful technology initiatives demonstrate your ability to drive transformative change.

Possessing excellent communication and presentation skills, you excel at articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse range of audiences, including both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders. This talent for clear communication enables you to foster a collaborative, customer-centric environment where ideas can flourish, and innovative solutions can be developed. Who You Are

Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience.

15+ years of experience in technology consulting, IT modernisation, or a similar role.

Proven experience in supervising engagements and managing customer relationships.

Strong background in analysing IT landscapes and providing modernisation recommendations and strategies.

Current experience in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Software engineering background beneficial

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong problem-solving, logical, and critical thinking skills.
