A leading company in security solutions is seeking an experienced IT & Building Systems Lead to oversee business-specific IT devices, software, and systems, ensuring seamless operations across their Dartford facility.

While the company leverages a Group IT function, this role is critical in managing day-to-day IT support, ERP system leadership, and building management systems. As the on-site IT lead, you will provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and office systems, collaborating closely with Group IT while taking ownership of local IT and business-specific software needs.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first line of IT support, troubleshooting computer, network, and device issues.
Manage software, hardware, and IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Oversee security monitoring, reviewing system logs and managing threats/alerts.
Work with Group IT to enhance security measures and compliance.
Support the development of business intelligence reports using Excel and Power BI.
Coordinate and manage building system maintenance and repair schedules.
Ensure proper management of access control and CCTV security systems.
Maintain software licenses, upgrade schedules, and IT inventory.
Order and manage IT and building system supplies.
Assist with ad hoc technology and office management tasks. 

Key Requirements

Strong technical proficiency in Windows device configuration, Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, VLANs, firewall and switch configuration).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising effectively within IT and office management responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, diagnosing and resolving technical and administrative challenges.
Leadership qualities, fostering relationships both internally and externally.
Hands-on, proactive approach with a can-do attitude in a dynamic environment.
