Web Analytics & CDP Specialist (Contract)
📍 Oxfordshire (3 days in office - Tues/Weds/Thurs) | 💼 Contract | 🔍 Immediate start preferred
🚨 GTM, GA4 & server-side tagging experience is essential - CVs must clearly show this

Are you a technically skilled web analyst ready to take ownership of data tagging, platform integrations and customer insight? Want to join a fast-moving ecommerce environment where your data setups directly power personalisation, testing, and customer experience?

A leading UK-based ecommerce group is hiring a Web Analytics & CDP Specialist to drive forward their event tracking and customer data infrastructure. This is a high-impact role working across multiple digital properties and brands, with a strong focus on implementation, integration, and insight delivery.

âś… What we need from you:

Hands-on experience with GTM, GA4 and server-side tagging - including event setup, tag audits, data layer management and debugging

Experience integrating tracking setups with CDPs such as Tealium, Segment, Bloomreach, or mParticle

Clear track record working with data and tech teams to ensure clean, reliable pipelines into a data warehouse

Advanced SQL skills (will be assessed) and comfort working in BigQuery or similar environments

Experience handling large datasets and making them useful for segmentation, testing and personalisation

Understanding of standard ETL workflows and working with APIs or vendors to pull in data from multiple martech sources

Experience using A/B and multivariate testing tools to improve digital performance

5+ years' experience in relevant insight, analytics, or data roles

Strong communication skills - able to present insight clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you'll be doing:

Review, manage and refine GTM/GA4/server-side tagging setups

Help build a Single Customer View by aligning behavioural and transactional data

Collaborate across teams to identify and fix data flow gaps between platforms

Support vendor selection and implementation of a CDP solution

Run and support A/B and multivariate tests, helping iterate and improve digital experiences

📍 Location: Office based 3 days/week in Oxfordshire
