    Y Rôl

    Fel Technegydd Cymorth Systemau Gwybodaeth, byddwch yn darparu cymorth technegol a chynnal a chadw ar gyfer ein systemau TG.

    Yn benodol, byddwch yn goruchwylio gosod, cynnal a chadw ac uwchraddio caledwedd a meddalwedd cyfrifiaduron pen desg, gan ddarparu cymorth technegol rheng flaen a datrys diffygion system.

    Y tu hwnt i hyn, byddwch yn cefnogi ein swyddogaethau GIS trwy reoli gwybodaeth ofodol, cynnal gwiriadau ansawdd data, a chreu mapiau ac adroddiadau yn ôl yr angen.

    Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:

  • Cynnal profion PAT i sicrhau diogelwch offer
  • Rheoli lefelau stoc o nwyddau traul cyfrifiadurol ac ymylol
  • Cyflwyno hyfforddiant TG sylfaenol i staff ac aelodau

  • Y gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg a Saesneg
  • Gradd berthnasol neu o leiaf dwy flynedd o brofiad mewn systemau gwybodaeth
  • Profiad gyda chaledwedd cyfrifiadurol, meddalwedd, a systemau TG cyffredinol
  • Profiad o systemau GIS a GPS

    About Us

    Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

    We are now looking for an Information Systems Support Technician to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

    Welsh language skills are essential for the job. Please read the job description for the exact level required for this job role.

    The Role

    As an Information Systems Support Technician, you will provide technical assistance and maintenance for our IT systems.

    Specifically, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of desktop PC hardware and software, providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting system faults.

    Beyond this, you will support our GIS functions by managing spatial information, performing data quality checks, and creating maps and reports as required.

    Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct PAT testing to ensure equipment safety
  • Manage stock levels of computer and peripheral consumables
  • Deliver basic IT training to staff and members

    About You

    To be considered as an Information Systems Support Technician, you will need:

  • The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
  • A relevant degree or at least two years’ experience in information systems
  • Experience with computer hardware, software, and general IT systems
  • Experience of GIS and GPS systems
  • A full, valid driving licence

    Please note, you will be required to travel across our sites.
