About the role:

As anInformation Management Consultant,you'll play a key role in shaping the future of energy by delivering expert IM services within our customer's team. Working across multiple business functions, you'll design and implement best practices that enhance data governance, streamline document management, and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the renewables sector, driving innovation and efficiency while supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy landscape.

As an Information Management Consultant, you will:

  1. Develop, implement, and sustain quality management system solutions for information management, ensuring alignment with company strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., information security, retention, and personal data protection).
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess information needs, define priorities, and drive improvements through lean methodologies and enhanced collaboration.
  3. Support project execution using company project management methodologies, ensuring best practices in data and document governance.
  4. Enhance business processes with a focus on optimizing information flow, document retention, and information protection.
  5. Manage the adoption and governance of compliance standards, including Ofgem audit requirements and Network and Information (NIS) compliance.
  6. Design and implement seamless processes for compliance management and recurring audits.
  7. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of policies and audit processes within Corporate Management Systems.

Requirements

  1. Experience in Information Management, ideally gained within the energy or renewables sector.
  2. Working knowledge of business analysis and project delivery.
  3. Understanding of Ofgem regulations and NIS compliance (desirable but not essential).
  4. Strong stakeholder engagement, quality management, and policy development skills.
  5. A proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage projects and deliver effective IM solutions.
