Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Lupton, Kendal

About Us:

We are looking for a motivated HR Administrator to deliver a customer-focused, timely, and pragmatic HR administrative support service.

Key Responsibilities:

As an HR Administrator, your role will encompass a variety of critical functions:

Employee Lifecycle Management: Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and variation letters for new and existing employees, optimising time to hire while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Onboarding and Compliance: Oversee the onboarding process in line with our Group Safer Recruitment Policy. Ensure that all relevant new starter information, including references and DBS checks, is accurately documented and filed.

HR Information System (HRIS) Management: Maintain up-to-date records on our HRIS, ensuring all compliance checks, including Right to Work and DBS information, are completed timely and accurately. Prepare reports for monthly payroll runs.

Record Maintenance: Compile and maintain comprehensive staff records, regularly auditing files to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Meeting Support: Take notes during disciplinary, grievance, and investigation meetings, distributing them to relevant parties promptly.

Administrative Coordination: Resolve administrative queries, assist managers with HRIS-related questions, and coordinate documentation as required.

Training and Support: Facilitate induction training and provide ongoing administrative support to managers and senior administrators regarding HR policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

Strong understanding of HR administrative processes and compliance.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels.

Proficient in using HRIS and other relevant systems.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
