Interim Housing Data Analyst
Based in Central London, hybrid working
Length: 3 Months initially (potential for extension)
Inside IR35
We’re working with a dynamic London borough to recruit a Housing Data Analyst to drive data-led improvements across housing services. This crucial role sits at the heart of performance reporting, strategic planning, and compliance with consumer standards, with a direct impact on resident outcomes. The successful candidate will lead on managing data systems, building insightful Power BI dashboards, and turning complex datasets into actionable intelligence to help shape inclusive, effective housing services.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Housing Data Analyst:
Manage, analyse and report on housing service data to improve delivery and measure performance
Design and develop Power BI dashboards for strategic and operational use
Predict demand, identify risks and trends, and support services with evidence-based decision making
Lead data-related workstreams across key housing projects and programmes
Collaborate with internal and external partners including Housing Needs, NHS, voluntary sector, and central government
Support statutory reporting and performance returns for government and regulatory bodies
Skills, experience and knowledge required of the Interim Housing Data Analyst:
Proven track record in housing data analysis, business intelligence, and performance reporting
Proficiency in T-SQL, Power BI, and Excel; experience building automated reports and dashboards
Experience working in or alongside public sector housing teams, with understanding of landlord compliance and consumer standards
