£25,000 - £30,000

Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 05:30 or 08:00 – 06:00

A well-established and reputable name in the plant hire and construction support sector is seeking a highly organised, detail-driven Hire Administrator to join their busy Irlam office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in hire administration or equipment rental to join a growing and supportive team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.

The Candidate;

Previous experience in hire administration or a rental-based role (plant hire or construction preferred).
Knowledge of Syrinx software (preferred, but not essential).
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
A high level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with plant or construction equipment terminology is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities;

Manage the full hire lifecycle using Syrinx software – from initial booking through to off-hire, sale, or return.
Maintain accurate records of equipment availability, location, and movement.
Liaise with operations to coordinate timely deliveries and collections.
Work closely with the sales team to generate accurate quotes and process customer orders.
Handle internal and external enquiries with professionalism and urgency.
Generate hire agreements, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
Support the Finance team with timely and accurate invoicing.
Maintain data integrity within the hire system.
