Lead Data Engineer London - Hybrid (3 days per week inoffice) Up to £90,000 + Benefits OVERVIEW We are partnering with aprominent investment company within the infrastructure sector,seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to help establish a datastrategy and support long-term data-driven growth. With recentconsulting insights highlighting the need for a robust datainfrastructure, this role will be instrumental in building out anew data warehouse and scaling data capabilities across theorganization. THE COMPANY This UK-based infrastructure investmentfirm specializes in long-term funding, development, and managementof essential assets across sectors like transportation, healthcare,and renewable energy. Focusing on public-private partnerships (PPP)and private finance initiatives (PFI), it collaborates with publicentities to develop and operate services vital to communities.Their strategy prioritizes stable, low-risk assets for predictablereturns, connecting institutional investors with publicinfrastructure projects. THE ROLE As a Lead Data Engineer, youwill: - Lead the build of a Snowflake data warehouse, working froman established architecture. - Collaborate closely withbusiness-side stakeholders to optimize data usage and insights. -Oversee data pipeline and cloud infrastructure setup, with along-term goal of expanding the data team. - Ensure best practicesin data management and leverage CI/CD practices for scalability.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Strong experience with Snowflake andPython in data engineering roles. - Familiarity with Azure,Terraform, and dbt is highly desirable. - Previous experienceworking in smaller teams or SMEs with a hands-on, self-startingapproach.
