We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Price and Promotions Manager to join our AFB team; leading a team of 2-3 direct reports managing the development and execution of pricing and promotional strategies across our retail and wholesale businesses.
 
Reporting to the Category & Revenue Management Controller this high-impact role is key to driving commercial performance through insight-led decision-making, precision execution, and strategic leadership. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping customer value perception while leading a team of pricing specialists and working cross-functionally across the business

What You’ll Be Doing
 
Pricing & Promotions Strategy

• Develop, implement and refine integrated pricing and promotional strategies in line with business objectives
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to adjust tactics proactively
• Advise on optimum pricing levers to drive sales growth and margin improvement
• Manage the end-to-end promotional calendar in collaboration with Category, Replenishment and Marketing teams
• Ground all initiatives in customer insight and brand positioning

Data Analysis & Commercial Insight

• Translate complex analytics into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with analytics teams to build and maintain dashboards tracking price, promotion, elasticity, ROI and margin impact
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and refine future activity based on results

Systems & Process Leadership

• Oversee maintenance and development of pricing, promotional and contract management platform (Profimetrics)
• Lead process-streamlining initiatives to ensure systems deliver actionable, timely insights
• Champion data integrity, governance and continuous improvement across the team

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Pricing & Promotions specialists
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Establish clear objectives, development plans and performance metrics
• Build succession pipelines and identify future talent needs

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

• Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial, Finance, Operations and IT partners
• Present evidence-based insights in cross-functional forums to drive brilliant decisions
• Engage 3rd party system suppliers to drive forwards development
