Salary: Upto £70,000We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of IT & Data to join our Bristol based client. This pivotal role encompasses overseeing all aspects of our IT operations, from managing the service desk to ensuring the security and stability of our infrastructure. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing a data team and implementing a robust data strategy.

IT Leadership and Strategy:
Implement the IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
Data Strategy and Management:
Lead the data team in implementing a comprehensive data strategy.
Oversee data governance, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Service Desk Management:
Ensure the efficient operation of the IT service desk, providing timely and effective support to all users.
Project Management:
Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Cyber Security & Governance:
Act as the company's Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies to protect the organization's data and IT infrastructure.
Infrastructure and Hardware Management:
Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 12 IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in an IT & Data leadership role, managing diverse teams and IT & Data functions.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data strategies and manage a data team.
Strong knowledge of IT service management, project management, and cyber security practices.
Experience with infrastructure management, software systems, and hardware lifecycle management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
