Summary
  • Seeking an experiencedData Architectto lead the definition and implementation of atarget data strategy.
  • Responsible for defining, agreeing, and maintaining thedata strategy and implementation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business system needs and operating landscape.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, translating their requirements intodata architecture solutionsthat drive business value.
  • Strong understanding ofdata-mesh design strategy, with experience transitioningdata warehousingto this paradigm.
  • Ability to translate business requirements intoeffective data solutions, clearly communicating benefits to both business and technology stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Influencedata strategy developmentat an organizational level, identifying transformation opportunities.
  • Represent thedata domainin enterprise-level governance and architecture forums.
  • Define and communicatecurrent, resultant, and target state architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Translate architecture roadmaps intoactionable work packagesfor incremental value delivery.
  • Play a key role in change teams,owning the delivery of data architecture products.
  • Develop and maintainarchitecture models, roadmaps, and standardsto ensure strategic alignment.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding ofData Managementrequirements within regulated industries, particularlyFinancial Services.
  • Proven experience indata strategy developmentanddata architecture transformation, leveraging strategic technology solutions.
  • Relevantqualificationswith deep knowledge ofdata interface and residency patterns.
  • Communication & Leadership: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels, including executives and technical teams.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to navigate complex architectural challenges while balancing short-term and strategic goals.
  • Familiarity withAvaloq Core Platformand related technologies is a plus.
Additional Experience
  • Knowledge of industry architecture frameworks likeTOGAF and ArchiMate.
  • Experience working inAgileenvironments.
  • Strong understanding ofhardware, software, applications, and systems engineering.
