Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The role will support the Data Quality Analysts to:
Establish metrics for all critical Data under governance Help Data Owners and Data Stewards to understand the measures and the importance of meeting agreed DQ thresholds. Help Data Owners and Data Stewards to understand their accountabilities for DQ. Drive adequate detail about metrics and current DQ levels by working with Data SMEs across Arch Insurance International. Drive clear agreement with respect to DQ accountabilities. Prioritise data sets for DQ measurement by aligning with key Arch Insurance International quality drives Assist other groups within the Chief Data Office where required to bring data under Governance and address issues made clear by that definition process. Support data-related groups across Arch Insurance International in driving better data quality and alignment by providing expertise and advice or support Collaborate with all functional teams and other support teams to improve end to end service delivery for all data across Arch Insurance International
Role Requirements & Skills
Skills / Competencies
A track record of successful delivery in an Insurance environment Experience in performing data quality measurement utilising industry standard toolset such as Informatica or Collibra Strong analytical, communications and global awareness skills. Good relationship management skills to build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels in an Insurance environment Strong communication skills The ability to present solutions to complex data challenges The ability to influence and probe for detailed understanding from others Self-driven, organised, goal oriented and able to take full ownership and responsibility for actions An understanding of Insurance business drivers, products and practices Product/Procedural/Specialist Knowledge – a broad understanding of Data Quality processes and extensive knowledge of a wide variety of procedures appropriate to the business
Qualifications
Any relevant qualification in Data Quality e.g. ICO 8000 would be a plus
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience Lloyd’s experience a plus London Market insurance experience a plus
