Are you ready to shape the data future of a truly global law firm?

With over 600 lawyers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, our client is a top-tier international law firm that is now hiring a Head of Data. This is a brand-new, high-impact role reporting directly to the Global Director of IT, offering the unique opportunity to build a data strategy from the ground up.

As Head of Data, you’ll lead the development and delivery of a firmwide data strategy – working closely with stakeholders across IT, Risk & Compliance, and Practice Groups. You’ll be instrumental in defining governance frameworks, improving data quality, enhancing security, and enabling smarter, faster decisions across the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver a global data strategy and roadmap

  • Lead on data governance, classification, hierarchies, integration, and cleansing

  • Collaborate with IT and Risk & Compliance on security and regulatory alignment

  • Enable fee earners and business teams to leverage data effectively

  • Build consensus with senior stakeholders and drive firmwide data initiatives

  • Identify resource needs and make the case for future investment

  • Manage data risk, identify opportunities, and support strategic growth

    What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years in a senior data leadership role within legal or professional services

  • Strong grasp of data strategy, governance and compliance

  • Exceptional communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of how a global law firm or professional services firm operates
