Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

Location:Wolverhampton or Kent

WFH:3 days a week in office

Salary:£90,000 + 25% Bonus, 30 days annual leave

About the Role:

Our client is seeking aLead Azure DevOps Engineerto spearhead the integration of cutting-edge DevOps practices into their data solutions lifecycle. Collaborating closely with Data Engineering and IT teams, you'll drive best practices in CI/CD, automate deployments, and lead the migration from on-premises systems to an Azure-based cloud ecosystem. This is a hands-on, leadership role pivotal in enhancing data operations and supporting innovation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate database provisioning.
• Collaborate across teams to monitor, optimize, and secure data infrastructure.
• Lead the transition to Azure-based solutions and enhance cloud DevOps practices.
• Provide training, documentation, and best practices to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience inAzure DevOps, CI/CD, and system automation.
• Hands-on expertise with database administration and cloud-based tools.
• Knowledge ofAzure services, SDLC, and security best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., AZ-400)are a plus.
