Join our team at RSM UK as the GVRC Compliance Data Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping our VAT compliance services across the UK, EU, and beyond. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team, ensuring quality and efficiency in tax reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a GVRC Compliance Data Analyst in one of our national offices, you’ll play a critical role in managing and delivering onboarding projects, working closely with client data, and leveraging advanced data tools like Alteryx. In this role you’ll use your expertise in API development and database management, ensuring data systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and data challenges.
  • Translating client needs into technical solutions, leveraging tools like Alteryx to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Building new workflows and enhance existing ones using Alteryx to support daily controls and processes. As well as designing, building, and maintaining APIs to support client onboarding, data workflows, and system integrations.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal and external teams and supporting others in improving their analytical and technical skills to streamline data exchange processes.
  • Presenting insights, progress, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Strong understanding of financial data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Advanced expertise in Alteryx is highly beneficial, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in database management and development (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
  • A creative, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
  • Experience in data analytics, project management, and technical solution design.
  • Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, GraphQL, or similar).
