We are looking for adata-driven Growth Marketing Managerto own user acquisition, activation, and retention. Role Overview

AsGrowth Marketing Manager at Gendo, you will drivescalable, measurable growththrough a combination ofpaid and organic marketing strategies, conversion optimisation, and data-driven experimentation. Your focus will be onincreasing trial-to-subscriber conversion rates, optimising acquisition channels, and implementing and iterating on retention tactics.

You will work closely withProduct, Engineering, and Content teamsto ensure that growth initiatives are integrated into the user journey and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities1. Data-Driven Growth Strategy & Funnel Optimisation

Develop and execute agrowth strategyto increase user acquisition and improve trial-to-subscription conversion rates.

Map and optimisethe marketing funnel, identifying and resolving drop-off points with structured A/B tests.

Work withProduct, Engineering and Marketing teamsto define and track key metrics such asCustomer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Churn Rate, and Activation Rate.

Build adata-first growth dashboard, ensuring all experiments and campaigns are measurable.

2. Performance Marketing & Paid Acquisition

Manage and optimisepaid advertising campaigns(Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) to drive high-intent users to Gendo.

Continuously A/B testad creatives, copy, and landing pagesto improve conversion rates.

3. Retention & Engagement Marketing

Implementemail, in-app messaging, and lifecycle marketing campaignsto improve retention and activation rates.

4. Referral & Virality Growth Loops

Design and implement areferral programmethat encourages architects and designers to invite peers.

Requirements

Proven experience and evidenced track record in Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Performance Marketing—preferably in ahigh growth SaaS or tech startup.

Strong understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies, with experience in optimising self-serve funnels, onboarding flows, and product-driven acquisition and retention tactics.

Strongquantitative mindset, with expertise inGoogle Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools.

Hands-on experience managingpaid acquisition (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta)and optimising forCAC vs. LTV.

Deep knowledge ofA/B testing methodologies, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and growth experimentation frameworks.

Strong proficiency inmarketing automation tools(HubSpot, Iterable, Customer.io , etc.).

Comfortable working withProduct Managers and Data Analyststo align growth initiatives with product development.

Ability to createcompelling, data-driven reportsthat influence strategy and budget decisions.

Creative approachto marketing to a creative customer base.

This is a full-time position, during which you’ll spend 3 days a week in either our London or Bristol office, and 2 days a week working remotely from home (in the UK).
