Muzz is the world's biggest dating and marriage app for Muslims, but we've still got a way to go! We need a smart and ambitious data analyst, with real entrepreneurial flair to join our Data team to understand our members and all the metrics that matter. Love numbers and love being commercial? This is the role for you.

  • You'll be joining a dynamic data team whose goal is to grow the company and optimize our products as we expand into new markets around the world
  • You'll own measurement in marketing - assessing the performance of global marketing activities and unlocking growth opportunities to scale
  • You’ll own reporting - set up and maintain dashboards to assess KPIs whilst enabling self-service
  • You'll work closely with our marketing leaders, growth managers, product managers to create marketing strategies through data-driven insights and impactful analysis
  • You’ll investigate, work with and assess novel marketing channels to drive growth
  • You’ll provide continuous training of business users to get the most of our BI Tool
  • You’ll own, prioritise and execute on ad hoc requests to support marketing specialists from around the world to make data led decisions
  • You’ll collaborate with product teams and product analysts to improve personalised marketing efforts to unlock areas of growth for marketing leveraging product features driving activation, retention and monetisation

Requirements and skills needed

  • Strong SQL knowledge, and proven experience in optimizing queries for performance, scalability, and ease of maintenance
  • Create and maintain BI dashboards, data models, searches and views
  • Excellent communication skills and presenting to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work flexibly, be organised and capable of prioritizing requests
  • Experience working in data focused marketing teams
  • Provide design support for our data models to answer multiple business needs through collaboration with data engineers

  • Experience with Looker/ThoughtSpot
  • Experience with Google BigQuery
  • Experience with Mobile Measurement Platforms
