Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Specialist Hedge Funds Head-Hunters

Salary: £28-£30K basic, OTE £45K year 1, £60K year 2, £85K year 3

Location: Bank, City of London

My client is a global specialist Recruitment Firm in Hedge Funds, Assessment Management, Investment Banks, Crypto and Fintech. They place technologists, data scientists, engineers and traders into leading firms across the globe, with a presence in New York, Chicago, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take a hybrid approach between contingent recruitment and executive search; candidates are in high demand and therefore paid extremely well.
  2. Average deal sizes range from £60 - £80k, with potential deals in the £120 - £150k bracket.
  3. Expected to make a handful of deals in year 1, earning between £45k - £60k.

  1. Must have achieved greatly in academics: AAB+ at A-Level and a 2:1 or above from a top 20 university.
  2. Confidence – must not be intimidated by speaking with intelligent individuals from top colleges.
  3. Money Motivated – excited by the opportunity to earn big, with a recent joiner earning over £100k in year 1.
  4. Research led – organized, research-focused attention to detail in recruitment.
  5. Hard working – driven, ambitious, and hardworking with evidence through academics, sport, work experience, or life.

  1. Uncapped commission with 0 threshold, up to 40% and increased commission once achieving Team Lead.
