Overview

The Department

  1. The Meta Data Governance team is the account's central hub for offering guidance, defining best practice, and operationalizing the transformation of advertising ideas into well-encoded advertising data.
  2. Our work enables the wheel of exquisite media activation to roll on, streamlining the development of insights grounded in fact and captivating strategic opportunity.
  3. We get to help write the language of advertising with a client that's a world-class leader in the field.

The Clients

  1. The successful applicant for this role will work on Meta including Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Meta Quest and Meta Ray Ban Glasses, Meta Public Affairs.
  2. We are Meta's Global Media Agency of Record and we're looking to expand our excellent, dynamic and inclusive team.
  3. We work across different Meta's business units, across international markets, and work closely with our US team, on one of the world's most innovative and highly connected global accounts.

Responsibilities

  1. Compliance and Integrity: Supporting clients in managing, operating and scaling digital and offline campaign data through activations across paid and owned channels. You will confirm that media teams are adhering to standard taxonomy and processes all platforms, and ensuring teams input data in our systems to correctly reflect attributes of our media initiative, tactics and creatives.
  2. Training and Quality Assurance: Provide hands-on training to team members, teaching them how to effectively use tools and think strategically about media investment. Ensure quality assurance by confirming adherence to guidelines and assist in resolving any variance issues.
  3. Mentorship and Process Design: Mentor junior team members in managing data dictionaries, supplemental data collection, and maintaining database stability. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and iterate on efficient processes and tools.
  4. Representation and Strategic Collaboration: Showcase the benefits of the data integrity approach to other accounts within Publicis, and work closely with the Analytics team on strategic ad-hoc requests, including client presentations, insights gathering, and audience analysis.

In 6 months time...

  1. People will look to you for questions on how to translate media ideas into media data aligned to Meta's ways of working.
  2. You'll help onboard new (non-DG) team members on those processes.
  3. You will be confident in understanding the Meta business in more detail, which will inspire you to proactively propose solutions to elevate how we work.
  4. You'll manage the foundational work of junior team members.

Qualifications

  1. Media agency background.
  2. In-depth knowledge of data governance and taxonomy standards across various levels of business, media, and creative.
  3. Strong understanding of paid media process (Strategy, Investment, Ad Tech, Analytics, Operations, Actualization).
  4. Strong experience with data management in spreadsheeting software (Excel, Google Sheets); macro dev therein a plus.
  5. Strong skills in project management, including standard tools (Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheets).
  6. Experience with data ETL and visualisation tools (Datorama, Tableau, Alteryx, Domo).
  7. Familiarity with various digital media technologies such as ad servers, ad verification, DSPs, and socials (CM360, DV, DV360).
  8. Very detail-oriented, autonomous, a strong critical thinker, and able to navigate multiple tasks and abstract ideas.
  9. A relationship builder, a creative problem solver, a customer service expert, and a team player.
  10. Can put ideas on paper and excel at conveying them (communication, presentation).
  11. Can digest what others convey and transform those ideas into even bigger things.
  12. Can teach and assist others with empathy, if not friendliness.
  13. Can take on challenges in stride with wit, humour, and grace.
