Aviva is creating a completely new CIO Gen AI Platform team, responsible in delivering a state-of-the-art Gen AI platform that provides a common framework to architect, build, test, deploy and run Gen AI capabilities and services that can be easily leveraged for use within a variety of business and technology use cases.
A bit about the job:
The role is one of several other GenAI roles that Aviva are creating for a new team! As part of the role, under the guidance of our GenAI Platform Architect & Services Lead, you will build reusable, scalable infrastructure and GenAI services/tools required to build a world class platform providing GenAI services for consumption by our business teams. This will include building all aspects of a productionised platform, such as monitoring/observability, aligning to security standards and ensuring adherence to a DevSecOps best practise framework. This role also deals with oversees continuous integration and delivery pipelines automations to create blueprints for use across software asset creation.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in,Bristol or London.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong background within Software Engineering and DevSecOps, having implemented microservice architectures on large scale distributed systems through APIs.
GenAI system build and delivery experience (i.e. LLM and RAG integration, GenAI services/orchestration, Prompt Engineering, Security, LLMOps).
AWS(EKS)/Azure infra (Terraform, CloudFormation), API/Integration systems delivery (Spring, OAS3.0), strong Python/Java/Node JS programming, DevSecOps principles and practise, Agile/Scrum methodology.
Solid understanding/implementation of security, monitoring/observability and systems assurance best practises.
Able to work adaptively with attention to detail, experienced in shaping technical solutions to architectural requirements with good communication skills / able to understand and present complex ideas.
