FX Services is a global Product and Trading business that provides spot and forward FX services to clients of various . Morgan businesses – Securities Services, Payments, Commercial Bank, Merchant Solutions, Consumer and Business Bank, and the Private Bank. Services provided include execution of client instructed FX transactions related to corporate payments, securities trades, dividend and income receipts, corporate actions and related instructions.

As an Associate, Quantitative Analyst within FX Services, will be part of the Front Office Product team responsible for designing and implementing analytics tools, which will drive market leading client solutions, and perform ad-hoc analysis on large data sets to aid with client pitches. You will be playing a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge analytics, driving our client solutions, and generating new revenue opportunities.


The team works closely with Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, and partners across Markets and Securities Services to develop and deliver these solutions.


Job responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, Trading, Securities Services, and other key stakeholders to identify how analytics can enhance revenue generation and improve the overall product offering Identify where quantitative techniques can be used to develop new business opportunities or improve client experience Conduct transaction cost analysis to clearly demonstrate the value of our products to clients Work independently to develop and pilot analytics solutions Build data visualizations to effectively communicate data insights internally and to clients Drive the evolution of our technology by proposing and developing innovative applications and new platform features Execute ad hoc data mining tasks and respond promptly to requests

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

You have a strong academic background in a STEM discipline such as Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Computer Science You have proven ability to analyze large data sets and draw useful (commercial) conclusions You have proven experience with coding (preferably Python) and data science tools You have experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikSense, Power BI or similar platforms You have ability to analyze and apply advanced statistical methods across large data sets You are highly motivated and be able to collaborate effectively combined with a practical approach to problem solving, ability to explain complex topics to a diverse range of audiences You have a great team skills but must be a self-starter and have ability to work in dynamic environment You have a passion for understanding data and communicating insights to the wider team
