About the role

  • Be an important part of a small and fast-moving team that is passionate about using technology to decarbonise industry and improve energy efficiency;
  • Help create and develop a new AI/ML SaaS platform;
  • Contribute to architectural and technology decisions;
  • Own features end to end and help set product direction;
  • Work closely with process engineers, data scientists and the commercial team.

The role is full-time, starting as soon as possible.

About Kondor

Kondor is a new venture recently spun out of DSV creating a SaaS platform to help industry decarbonise and improve energy efficiency, with experienced co-founders, great investors and a big problem to solve. Meet the team

Tim (Co-founder & CEO): is a chartered engineer and chartered manager with over 20 years’ experience in consulting and contracting in the energy sector. His has helped many companies improve their energy efficiency, decarbonise and build a roadmap to net zero. He’s a proud dad, a keen cyclist and an off piste-skier.

Peter (Co-founder & CTO): did a PhD in physics, escaped investment banking and co-founded Kingo, a solar energy as a service company, which raised $50mm of investment to bring light and energy to poor, off-grid communities in Latin America. He loves working with smart people to build things. He is married with an eight-year-old daughter and a dog he rescued from a beach.

Requirements

  • Passionate about solving some of the hardest decarbonisation and energy efficiency challenges;
  • Mid to senior level engineers with experience in our tech stack:
    • Typescript, React and Next.js for the front-end;
    • Node.js serverless functions, DynamoDB and GraphQL for the backend;
    • AWS and CDK for the platform;
    • We use python for data science and process modelling.
