Our client is a global manufacturer based in West Dunbartonshire. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Freight Administrator to be responsible for carrying out data and
invoicing management for the business.

Providing support in data entry, database maintenance, query resolution on financial and
operational issues.

Overview

  • Act as key contact for day to day internal and external issues
  • Capture and log all carrier related operation and financial
    issues
  • Process Freight Rate Requests from Customer Service Teams
  • Assist to produce key reporting for business trends on spend
  • Input and upkeep the administration of transportation system

    Internally, you'll work closely with Customer Service, Warehousing,
    Inventory & Planning and Finance. Externally, you will work with Carriers/Agents and Customers.

    Your blend of talent
  • Data entry and analytical reporting skills essential
  • Good working knowledge of Excel with Reporting, Microsoft
    Office Applications.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to
    problem solving.
  • Demonstrate data analysis and analytical skills to support
    managing costs and supplier selection.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain data integrity
    levels.

    This is an ongoing temporary role which is expected to last until the end of this year.
    Working Monday to Thursday, 8.00am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.00am - 12.00pm.

    Initially, you will be working on site full time for 4-6 weeks for training purposes, thereafter, you will be able to work hybrid, split 2 days working from home, with a WFH fixed on a Friday. The other day needs to be working flexibly to accommodate the team.
