The Role

We are hiring aFinancial Data Analystto support the Finance team in automating a critical payments reconciliation process. Currently manual and Excel-based, this process involves matching incoming payments with customer accounts and loans. You will play a key role in transitioning this to a modern data stack, leveragingSQL, dbt, and Airflow.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and optimise payment data to ensure accurate reconciliation of customer transactions.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Data teams to automate and improve financial reporting.
  • UtilizeSQLto extract, transform, and validate financial data from multiple sources.
  • Support the transition fromExcel-basedprocesses to scalable database solutions.
  • Provide insights into accounting data and financial operations.


About You

  • Prior experience as aData Analyst, Financial Data Analyst, or BI Analyst.
  • StrongSQLskills with experience working with financial or payment data.
  • Background inFinTechor a similar fast-moving environment is ideal.
  • Exposure toAWS, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Python, or Quicksightis beneficial but not mandatory.
