Job Title: Finance Assurance Manager

Salary: Circa £58,000
What you'll be doing:
Planning, delivery and reporting of a programme of audits that examine key areas of financial risk
Through audit assignments, you will play a key role in analysing the effectiveness of controls to mitigate risk
Applying critical thinking to identify weaknesses and understand root cause, determining and agreeing value added recommendations to enhance business performance
Supporting activities that contribute towards readiness for UK Corporate Reform and drive continuous improvement within the GCC
Creating audit reports that will be written for and read by senior stakeholders across the business, including members of the Executive Committee of BAE Systems plcYour skills and experiences:
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with relevant technical capability
A motivated self-starter with good organisational and stakeholder management skills to achieve outcomes through collaboration with others
Analytical skills, including the use of data analytics, to analyse complex issues and draw appropriate conclusions through the understanding of root cause
Proven verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively deliver potentially sensitive and / or complex information to a range of stakeholders, including senior executives
Ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders to gain support for recommendations and observations made in order to drive through improvement initiatives
Integrity and resilience to withstand pressure and remain firm on observations / recommendations arising from audit activityBenefits:
