Enterprise ArchitectRole: Enterprise Architect Job Type: Contract Day Rate: 500 per day (inside IR35) Duration: 6 Months Work Location: Hybrid (Required to go to respective offices for all key meetings, Frequency twice a month) Work Location: London/Manchester/Bristol, UK Job Title: Enterprise Architect Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect that designs a company s IT structure to ensure it aligns well with the business organizational structure and processes. The main duties will be to act as lead consultant for technology when engaging with senior stakeholders across the business, producing enterprise architecture artefacts as required to model and document the business area being supported, developing ways to integrate the business IT systems, creating and implementing enterprise architecture models, briefing and working alongside Solution Architects to ensure seamless working practices, defining and documenting infrastructure solutions, and suggesting improvements to current internal functions and IT processes. Essential Criteria: IT and Enterprise Architecture (EA) skills, including leadership of strategic directions/roadmaps for Enterprise scale platforms/capabilities. Experience of driving, delivering, and assuring technology change against a background of organisational transformation. Strategic engagements with stakeholders, with evidence of setting IT strategy, influencing business customers and taking a lead role to enable both IT and business change. Knowledge of enterprise-wide IT applications, including making use of enterprise cloud platforms IaaS, SaaS and PaaS specifically on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft technologies. Past experience of engaging with external partners, contractors, vendors to ensure the successful implementation of architectural solutions. Strong knowledge of data design principles, modelling techniques and experience of leading the design and implementation of data architecture strategy, directing evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure business requirements are being met. Proficient in Agile Architecture/GDS Delivery Ways of Working by having implemented and promoted agile architecture and Government Digital Service (GDS) delivery methods to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Ability to ensure compliance with authority architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guardrails. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology). Certification in at least one enterprise architecture framework like TOGAF, Zachman, etc., and Microsoft cloud certifications. Proven experience of 3+ years as Enterprise Architect, preferably in the UK Public sector and operating in large, complex organizations. Knowledge of agile and GDS delivery practices. Strong understanding of integration and security technologies. Previous experience in data management and cloud-based architecture.
