As a member of one of Tower’s trading teams, a Quantitative Trader / Researcher will be using Tower’s in-house trading system—one of the fastest and most comprehensive in the world—to develop and deploy algorithmic trading strategies based on patterns in market behavior.


Responsibilities


  • Designing, implementing, and deploying high or mid-frequency trading algorithms
  • Working with a dedicated mentor to research and enhance existing trading strategies
  • Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data.
  • Creating tools to analyze data for patterns
  • Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading


Qualifications


  • A Master’s and/or PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, data science, financial engineering, or related fields
  • A strong background in Python, C++
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • A passion for new technologies and ideas
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
