My client is seeking a candidate with experience in Ecommerce Operations, initially for around 3 months, however there is the potential of something longer-term.

Job Spec:

  • Lead the online retail customer service operation, including supervision some supervision of colleagues.

  • Work with other Zendesk users in the business to develop and improve the platform to meet objectives.

  • Monitor and process customer refunds, issuing store credit where relevant.

  • Resolving customer order and instore purchase queries including enquiries submitted in Zendesk

    Dealing with quires swiftly in a professional manner and maintaining accurate records

  • Updating various logs accurately and liaising with team to resolve queries relating to order issues.

  • Have experience in a customer service. Preferrable experience with Zendesk.

  • Would ideally have experience of leading a or leading a small team

  • A natural problem solver and self-starter, willing to investigate queries/complaints with the confidence to deal with these in a timely fashion

  • Experience of dealing with enquiries both in person and over the phone/email

  • Friendly, approachable, patient and driven. Able to lead and motivate a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A flexible approach and ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult people or balancing conflicting priorities

  • Process orientated with strong organisational skills

  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

  • Capable of working as part of a fast-paced team and comfortable working independently,

  • Experience in ecommerce operations/merchandising

  • Intermediate to Advance Excel skills. With a high degree of computer literacy in all other Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience using Order Management and Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Hands on experience with an ecommerce platform.

  • Experience managing complex projects within the group.

  • Experience using work management tools such as JIRA or Asana as part of daily work

  • Experience working with Analytics and Business Intelligence tools.

  • Basic HTML knowledge

  • Commercially aware with an interest in ecommerce ideally within retail,

  • Forward thinking – presenting recommendations to resolve along with the potential issue

  • Ability to work on own initiative. Completes tasks accurately and on time, with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

  • Enjoys taking on challenges.
