Chloe HR London Ltd is currently recruiting for an E-Commerce Operations

Manager on behalf of a US pet supplement company.


Full Time - 40 hours per week

Salary - £50K-£60K per annum + benefits


Only candidates with E-Commerce experience and knowledge will be considered.

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS


Application Deadline:

First Stage:

If your resume is short-listed, you'll get an email from our People Consultant, Chloe Hurley, who will reach out to you to book a 30-minute chat via google-meets just so we can get to know who you are and to determine whether we would be a good match.


Interviews will take place week commencing 17th and 24th March 2025.


Second Stage:

This is where it gets super exciting as you'll be meeting our CEO to learn more about who we are and what the role entails. You will also be required to present a 10-minute presentation which you'll l have had plenty of time to prep beforehand.


Final Stage:

We will then shortlist two candidates to meet our Operations Assistant which will enable you to understand their ways of working and to break the ice.


As you'll be managing them, it's crucial to ensure there is a positive vibe between you both. As the saying goes, teamwork makes the dream work! ;)


A DAY IN THE LIFE


Strategic Planning and Execution:

● Develop 12-month plan that is broken down into monthly outcomes that you take

responsibility for ensuring are completed (EXTREME OWNERSHIP).

● Lead pilot programs for new initiatives, such as subscription loyalty models, and oversee their successful implementation and reporting.

● Identify and evaluate opportunities for business growth, including international expansion and new sales channels.

● Ensure all customer monetisation initiatives are implemented e.g. Google Shopping,

Google Adwords, Bing etc


Team and Vendor Management:

● Manage internal team members (e.g. tech team, CS team) and external service

providers (e.g. media agency, freelancers) to ensure agree plan is completed.

● Monitor vendor performance and hold service providers accountable to KPIs, ensuring cost efficiency and quality deliverables.

● Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture, providing training and

development opportunities for staff.


Platform and Technology Optimisation:

● Oversee and manage E-Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Konnektive, Amazon, and Walmart.

● Regularly work with dev team audit and optimise website performance, including site speed, UX/UI, and mobile responsiveness.

● Implement and manage plugins, integrations, and software tools to improve operational efficiency e.g. Shopify Subscription plugins.

● Learn about new plugins and ways to improve our tech stack.


Operational Efficiency and Reporting:

● Streamline operations through automation, reducing manual processes to enhance

efficiency and scalability.

● Oversee data analyst to deliver accurate reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

● Utilise project management tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace) to track progress, prioritise tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.


Inventory and Product Management:

● Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, preventing stockouts and

overstock situations.

● Oversee product listings across platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling

descriptions, images, and pricing.

● Coordinate with the manufacturing and fulfillment teams to maintain operational

continuity and high customer satisfaction.


Innovation and Growth:

● Research and implement emerging tools and technologies to maintain a competitive.

edge in the eCommerce space e.g. new traffic platforms.

● Experiment with growth strategies e.g. subscription.


YOUR EXPERTISE, OUR SUCCESS


Your Experience:

● Proven track record in eCommerce operations with a strong understanding of platforms, technologies, and industry trends.

● Expertise in managing teams, agencies, and vendors to achieve performance targets and KPIs.

● Experience in digital commerce operations across various models (B2B, B2C, D2C).

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

● Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a focus on meeting

deadlines.

● Adaptability to new tools and technologies with a commitment to ongoing professional development.


Your Qualities:

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

● Creative problem-solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial

environment.

● Extreme ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for outcomes and achieving

targets.


A Bonus:

● Familiarity with CRM systems, subscription models, and loyalty programs.

● Experience with international marketplaces and cross-border eCommerce.
