The eCommerce Analyst plays an important role in the Commercial team, delivering insights into the performance of the business through rigorous analysis and measurement.


The eCommerce Analyst provides rigorous analysis and insight, to validate our agreed eCommerce strategies and tactics, support effective decision making and maximise demand, revenue and conversion rates.

You will leverage all available sources of eCommerce data and MI, the eCA will ensure eCommerce tactics are executed effectively, whilst working with the Acquisition and Product teams, to maximise performance across our digital platforms.


Salary: £40,125 - £44,125
Location: Holborn

What you’ll do

• With proven analytical capability combined with strong interpersonal skills, the eCA will deliver and communicate complex performance insights to multiple stakeholders.

• The eCA will work closely with the Lead eCom Analyst, Senior Commercial Analytics Manager, Product Leads and Acquisition team, taking direction in terms of priorities and focus.

• The eCA will be expected to provide effective insight and robust challenge, to drive improvements in the efficacy of our digital strategies, influencing both the Acquisition and Product teams.

• You’ll complete detailed analysis of digital performance, considering web analytic trends by analysing traffic, conversion, revenue, booking metrics and drivers of performance.

• Working against the roadmap of optimisation of marketing (digital acquisition channels or CRM campaigns and workflows) or digital properties (PI website, Business Booker and apps). Designing robust tests and providing actionable insights and recommendations.

What we need

• Experience in Adobe Analytics, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel.

• Strong data manipulation and visualisation skills, with good presentation capability.

• A good communicator, with a proven ability to manage their own workload and time effectively, with flexibility to balance the priorities and changing needs of multiple stakeholders.

• Demonstrable experience in an advanced analytical role.

• Broad, common understanding of digital performance, across both Commercial and Marketing functions.

• Excellent attention to detail and highly numerate.
