About the company:

They are currently seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 CRM Database Administrator with expertise in Azure Data Warehouse, Power BI, and SQL to join their existing IT team. This role is crucial for ensuring their database systems’ performance, security, and reliability.
Position Summary:
The D365 CRM Database Administrator will manage and optimise Dynamics 365 databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and integration with Azure Data Warehouse. This role will also involve developing and maintaining data visualization tools using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Administration:
Manage, configure, and maintain Dynamics 365 databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Implement and monitor database backup, restoration, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Conduct regular database security audits and implement necessary upgrades and patches.
Azure Data Warehouse Management:
Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Warehouse to accommodate organizational data needs.
Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365 and Azure platforms, optimizing data flow and accessibility.
Monitor data warehousing processes, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
Power BI Reporting:
Develop and maintain interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to facilitate data analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and transform them into actionable data visualizations.
Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the utility of BI tools.
SQL Development & Optimization:
Write and optimize SQL queries to enhance database performance and support application development.
Perform regular database tuning to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing times.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues as they arise.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with IT and business teams to support new initiatives and projects, ensuring database systems align with organizational goals.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users, enhancing their understanding of database operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Dynamics 365 CE/CRM (this is a must).
Strong expertise in Azure Data Warehouse, including architecture and management.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for both administration and development purposes.
Experience creating data visualizations and reports using Power BI.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What they offer:
Up to £55,000 salary
Up to £5,000 for Continuous Professional Development
