The role blends technical understanding of the Planning platforms with in-depth integration knowledge of the supply and performance architecture. This, combined with translating commercial requirements and configuration resource constraints, will define the implementation strategy for scalable operational success.

It will involve driving collaboration with key technical and commercial stakeholder teams across the Group, such as Investment, Regional Teams, and Product Managers, putting forward a centralized configuration perspective on new product development.

The role will be based in London and report to the Global VP of Product Configuration, Planning. The candidate should have experience working within the advertising industry; nice to have specifically within supply management and integration. The candidate must be collaborative and work well across a matrix organisation, in many markets, and with senior executive management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Implementation Plans: Creating detailed, scalable plans for implementing product enhancements and new platform builds – ensuring scalability, technical requirements, and internal resources.
  2. Process Optimization: Continuously improving implementation processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with Investment, Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Configuration, and Enablement teams to ensure seamless product rollout and adoption.
  4. Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of implementation processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
  5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking key metrics related to implementation success, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting to senior management.
  6. Client Onboarding & Training: Collaborating with the Enablement teams to be a key part of the onboarding process for new clients adopting the product, including training materials and support for both a technical and commercial audience.
  7. Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the implementation strategy remains effective and competitive.
  8. Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure successful product adoption.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who can display the following attributes:

  1. Relevant industry experience: Working within a relevant function for advertising agencies, media owners, or client-side, or suppliers of social media and search technology.
  2. Well-versed in media, with a solid understanding of the digital ecosystem, but also have experience in other media types and the synergies between them.
  3. Experience within a Product Configuration or Implementation team.
  4. Data management and interpretation: Familiarity with the access, storage, manipulation, and interpretation of media performance data across cloud infrastructure technologies, specifically Google Cloud and API tools.
  5. Proven experience with SQL, Google Big Query, Snowflake or similar.
  6. Proven experience with technical and commercial stakeholder management.
  7. Nice to have experience within a matrixed organization.
  8. Experience with Data Visualization software such as Looker, Tableau.
  9. A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, capable of managing multiple products and projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  10. Excellent communication – written and verbal - with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the organization.

Neurodiversity in Data Science Careers: Turning Different Thinking into a Superpower

Data science is all about turning messy, real-world information into decisions, products & insights. It sits at the crossroads of maths, coding, business & communication – which means it needs people who see patterns, ask unusual questions & challenge assumptions. That makes data science a natural fit for many neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, autism & dyslexia. If you’re neurodivergent & thinking about a data science career, you might have heard comments like “you’re too distracted for complex analysis”, “too literal for stakeholder work” or “too disorganised for large projects”. In reality, the same traits that can make traditional environments difficult often line up beautifully with data science work. This guide is written for data science job seekers in the UK. We’ll explore: What neurodiversity means in a data science context How ADHD, autism & dyslexia strengths map to common data science roles Practical workplace adjustments you can request under UK law How to talk about your neurodivergence in applications & interviews By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of where you might thrive in data science – & how to turn “different thinking” into a real career advantage.

Why Data Science Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

Data science once meant advanced statistics, machine learning models and coding in Python or R. In the UK today, it has become one of the most in-demand professions across sectors — from healthcare to finance, retail to government. But as the field matures, employers now expect more than technical modelling skills. Modern data science is multidisciplinary. It requires not just coding and algorithms, but also legal knowledge, ethical reasoning, psychological insight, linguistic clarity and human-centred design. Data scientists are expected to interpret, communicate and apply data responsibly, with awareness of law, human behaviour and accessibility. In this article, we’ll explore why data science careers in the UK are becoming more multidisciplinary, how these five disciplines intersect with data science, and what job-seekers & employers need to know to succeed in this transformed field.
