As Director of Live Service, you will be the vision holder for our Live Operations strategy, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our game and ensuring that our players have the best possible experience. Working collaboratively with multiple teams, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining an outstanding Live Ops Roadmap for monetisation, content releases and new features. As we build our collaborative culture, we feel Lighthouse Games is best suited to someone who is happy to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the studio in Leamington Spa.

Key Duties Include

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize player engagement and retention, including regular updates, events, and promotions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that new game features are designed with player engagement in mind
  • Work with data analysts to track and analyse key performance metrics, and use those insights to continuously improve the player experience
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key players in the games industry, including influencers and content creators
  • Develop and manage budgets for live operations, and ensure that all initiatives are executed within budgetary constraints
  • Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on the performance of live games and initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in managing live operations for games with large and engaged player bases
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of data visualization tools and methods.
  • Demonstrate a “Player-First mentality” and possess in-depth knowledge of the industry and player trends.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in AAA console development
  • Must exhibit a current passion for games and a strong sense of aesthetics applicable to producing AAA products
