A workplace culture built around trying new things, getting things done, and having fun while we do it has helped us lend more than £7.5 billion of mortgages, put thousands of new or improved homes into the UK housing market, and successfully launch on the London Stock Exchange. We have big plans to continue growing the business, our products, our technology, and our people.

About the role

We’re on the lookout for a strategic and data-driven leader to shape the future of credit risk at LendInvest. As our Director of Credit Risk Analytics & Decisioning, you’ll be at the forefront of optimising our mortgage products. • Partner with the CCRO to explore third-party tools and suppliers for advanced risk analytics and decisioning.

  • Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate budgeting inputs, including Expected Credit Loss, Cost of Risk, and Effective Interest Rate adjustments.

  • Create and enhance dashboards and reports to provide key credit risk insights and support strategic decision-making.

  • Identify and address negative data trends, proposing solutions to the CCRO and Investment and Credit Committee.

  • Deliver clear and timely reporting to the Investment and Credit Committee, enabling senior management to monitor performance against credit risk appetite.

  • Build and deploy analytical tools to uncover portfolio and product trends, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Manage data and analytical requests across Underwriting, Capital Markets, and Servicing teams.

  • Take ownership of data quality issues, driving remediation with stakeholders.

  • Provide market and portfolio analysis to Product Committees, recommending enhancements to product criteria.

What are we looking for?

  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Expertise in:
    • Credit Referencing Agency reports (personal and commercial).
