The Role

As Director of Consultancy, you will take the lead in managing and growing a portfolio of key client accounts. You’ll oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects while driving revenue growth. Your role will be critical in shaping the agency's strategy, developing client relationships, and maximising commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning the consultancy as a strategic partner.
  2. Identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand client relationships and grow revenue.
  3. Lead high-value pitches and proposals, securing new business opportunities.
  4. Oversee project teams, ensuring quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  5. Line-manage senior consultants, providing guidance and professional development.
  6. Take ownership of the financial performance of client accounts, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability.
  7. Work closely with leadership to shape company strategy and contribute to thought leadership.

  1. 8+ years of experience in a leadership role within a consultancy.
  2. Proven ability to build strong client relationships at the executive level.
  3. Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing large budgets.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  5. Experience leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams.
  6. A creative problem solver who can deliver innovative and strategic solutions.
  7. Strong understanding of internal communications within large organisations.
