What you’ll do:

As a Director you’ll lead specialist teams of strategy consultants and advise clients at the highest strategic levels. By focusing on how technology helps clients with their mission critical priorities, you’ll act as a subject matter expert within your Industry/Practice areas. You’ll enhance new and existing IP, tools, and methodologies to help your community, while partnering with MPs to develop new expansions to support clients. You’ll direct complex, multi-workstream engagements and be responsible for high-quality deliverables. By building strong relationships that create broader client opportunities, you’ll advise on best-in-class strategy and adoption. Inspiring your team by merit rather than status, you’ll lead by instilling ownership and commitment to excellence.

You’ll help expand Gartner Consulting’s footprint in Architecture, connecting the dots between Enterprise Architecture, Data, Application, Infrastructure and Security Architecture disciplines. Gartner Consulting has a solid position in creating, assessing, and assuring architectures to support Digital Transformation, modernize technologies and increase resilience for organizations. Based on deep expertise in Enterprise Architecture methods and approaches, experience in at least one architecture domain and foundational knowledge of the other domains, the Director plays a pivotal role in solutioning and leading engagements at our clients, creating direct client impact.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong experience as an engagement manager within a well-regarded management consultancy.

  • Experience in relevant architect roles either within a top tier Consulting or Systems Integration company or within architecture functions of large, global organizations.

  • Good understanding and experience within some of the following topics: Enterprise Architecture, Data architecture, Business capability modelling, Cloud Architecture, application architecture...

  • TOGAF or any other equivalent industry standard certification is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred.

  • Experience working with multiple IT solutions.

  • A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of commercial or government entities.

  • An ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal.

  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Gartner:

Our approach is simple: Attract the best talent, empower associates to reach their full potential and create an environment where everyone has equitable access to opportunity. We champion personal and professional development celebrating the diversity of our team and promoting a culture of inclusion, belonging, well being and growth.

The results? A diverse, inclusive, supportive workplace where associates can thrive.

Hybrid Working at Gartner Consulting:
