Digital Engineering - Systems Capability Lead
Location: Stevenage (Hybrid: 2–3 days on-site per week)
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Clearance Requirement: Must be SC clearable

Are you a forward-thinking Systems Engineer with a passion for MBSE and Digital Transformation? This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of Model-Based Engineering across some of the UK’s most advanced engineering programmes.
We're seeking a Systems Capability Lead to drive the adoption of End-to-End Model-Based Engineering (E2E MBE) and lead innovation across Systems Engineering, AI integration, and digital toolchains. You’ll be joining a specialist function focused on transforming engineering delivery through Digital Engineering and MBSE best practice—from coaching and training to the hands-on deployment of cutting-edge methodologies.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading the development and deployment of MBSE and MBE frameworks into live projects.
Championing digital engineering innovations, including:
Integration of AI into engineering toolsets
Cross-domain modelling with mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines
Engineering data modelling and analytics
Delivering consultancy, training, and support across national and international project teams.
Documenting best practices to shape guidance and governance for Digital Engineering across the business.
Staying ahead of industry trends and evolving digital capabilities.What We're Looking For
Strong background in Systems Engineering with significant MBSE experience.
Proven leadership in digital transformation initiatives, ideally within complex engineering environments.
Exposure to or a desire to develop expertise in:
AI tool integration
Digital thread and digital twin approaches
Cross-discipline modelling
Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and engage diverse engineering teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Degree or equivalent in a relevant STEM discipline.
