Playtech's land based Neon Casino team is seeking a skilled and motivatedDevOps Engineerto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of networks, servers, services, and deployment methods, and will excel in troubleshooting and resolving issues, with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will play a crucial role in verifying infrastructure, deploying our software solution, and ensuring its successful operation.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will…

  • Verify customer infrastructure to ensure compliance to our technical standards
  • Use automated continuous deployment software to deploy the Neon application suite
  • Correct and optimize deployment scripts as needed
  • Develop PowerShell, bash and/or python scripts
  • Ensure the software solution is deployed correctly and operates smoothly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any deployment or operational issues
  • Liaise with developers, project team members, and customer representatives to ensure successful deployment and operation
  • Work with both Windows and Linux
  • Deploy a highly available system installation
  • Clearly document the installed solution for handover to BAU support teams

Qualifications

  • Have a strong technical understanding of networks, servers and services
  • Are experienced in automated continuous software deployment
  • Familiar with both Windows and Linux servers
  • Have Git expertise
  • Are able to correct and optimize deployment scripts
  • Experienced in creating and executing PowerShell scripts
  • Excel at troubleshooting, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with developers, project team members, and customer representatives
  • Should have experience with Azure / Google Cloud, Windows and networking
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Experience of Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible
  • Experience in monitoring system health and reliability
  • Will have experience with Terraform or other IaC provisioning
  • Experience in the gaming industry
  • Foreign languages, particularly French or Spanish
