Company Description
Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and major global investor.
We’ve been safeguarding people’s financial futures since 1836, and strive to build a better society, while improving the lives of our customers and creating value for shareholders.
We are one of the world’s largest asset managers and provide powerful asset origination capabilities. These underpin our retirement and protection solutions: we are an international player in pension risk transfer, UK and US life insurance, and UK workplace pensions and retirement income.
L&G Asset Management is one of Europe’s largest asset managers, offering complex, responsible investment solutions across public and private markets. As a global investor, we operate where our clients need us—Hong Kong, Singapore, Chicago, and major European financial hubs.
Created by combining our investment management (LGIM) and asset origination (LGC) capabilities, our Asset Management division works with our Institutional Retirement and Retail divisions to benefit clients—including individual savers, pension scheme members, and global institutions—and deliver enhanced shareholder returns.
Joining us means becoming part of a market-leading team with capabilities across all asset classes, committed to responsible investment and creating sustainable, long-term value for our clients and partners.

Job Description
Are you passionate about data and its potential to transform business outcomes? Join our Chief Data Office (CDO) as a Senior Data Analyst and help shape the future of data services across LGIM and the wider L&G group. You’ll be leading the design of scalable, sustainable data solutions that support strategic goals and deliver real value.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data services
Designing end-to-end data solutions in partnership with business, technology, and change teams
Gathering and documenting requirements through user stories, features, and epics
Delivering analysis artifacts including data flows, service descriptions, and mapping specifications
Investigating data issues and identifying root causes with cross-functional teams
Developing data controls and supporting user acceptance testing
Estimating analysis effort and supporting delivery planning
Contributing to the enterprise-wide data strategy

Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
Experience working on data projects within the asset management industry
Strong analytical skills and experience in requirements gathering and service design
Knowledge of financial products, data domains, and governance principles
Collaborative approach with experience working across multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story development
Ability to analyze complex data flows and map data movement
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for data-driven value creation
Benefits:
Participation in annual performance-related bonus plan and share schemes
Generous pension contribution
Life assurance
Healthcare plan (permanent employees only)
At least 25 days holiday plus public holidays, increasing to 26 after 2 years, with holiday buy/sell options
Competitive family leave
Electric car scheme via salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
Discounts on products and partner stores
Modern, wellbeing-focused office spaces

Additional Information
At L&G, we believe in generating positive returns today while building a better future for all.
If you join us, you’ll be part of an inclusive culture, collaborating with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Our leaders are committed to integrity, your future, and wellbeing. We support career development through various initiatives.
We value outcomes over attendance and are open to flexible working arrangements, including part-time, term-time, and job sharing, where feasible.
Don’t worry if you don’t meet every criterion. Focus on your strengths, potential, and how you connect with our purpose.
