Job Description

Are you passionate about data and its power to transform business outcomes? Join our Chief Data Office (CDO) as a Senior Data Analyst and help shape the future of data services across LGIM and the wider L&G group. You’ll be at the forefront of designing scalable, sustainable data solutions that support strategic goals and deliver real value.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data services
  • Designing end-to-end data solutions in partnership with business, technology and change teams
  • Gathering and documenting requirements through user stories, features and epics
  • Delivering analysis artefacts including data flows, service descriptions and mapping specifications
  • Investigating data issues and identifying root causes with cross-functional teams
  • Developing data controls and supporting user acceptance testing
  • Estimating analysis effort and supporting delivery planning
  • Contributing to the delivery of the enterprise-wide data strategy


Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience working on data projects within the asset management industry
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in requirements gathering and service design
  • Knowledge of financial products, data domains and governance principles
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and user story development
  • Ability to analyse complex data flows and map data movement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for data-driven value creation
