The Role
You’ll be embedded in a high-performing data team focused on delivering predictive models, NLP solutions, and data products that drive business value in the insurance domain. Working end-to-end, you’ll lead modelling efforts from data wrangling to deployment, all while interfacing with clients and stakeholders in a technically rich environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deploy machine learning models including classification, regression, and clustering
- Work across the full model lifecycle: data prep, EDA, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and scaling
- Build predictive and propensity models for underwriting and claims
- Apply NLP and OCR for document classification and summarisation
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate data into action
What You’ll Bring
- Strong hands-on data science and ML experience
- Expert in Python and modern data science libraries
- Experience with AWS SageMaker, Databricks, or similar cloud tools
- Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, statistical modelling, and model deployment
- Solid understanding of NLP techniques for document processing
- Domain experience in insurance (e.g., underwriting, claims)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
