Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving data-led decision-making, building predictive models, and creating data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects alongside a skilled and diverse team of engineers, analysts, and product managers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse and interpret complex datasets.
  • Build, test, and deploy predictive models to solve real-world business problems, such as regression, classification, and clustering tasks.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and ensure the adoption of best practices.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to validate strategies and optimise performance.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Data Scientist role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data analysis and modelling.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling techniques.
  • Solid experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based data services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
