Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and curious Data Scientist to join our growing team and help shape the future of digital learning. You’ll work at the intersection of education, data, and technology, using advanced analytics and machine learning to unlock insights that improve how children learn, engage, and succeed.


Responsibilities


  • Apply statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques to improve learning outcomes and user experience.
  • Design and evaluate experiments to understand user behavior and optimize engagement.
  • Work closely with product managers, educators, and engineers to translate data-driven insights into impactful features.
  • Build predictive models and personalization algorithms that adapt learning experiences to each individual.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Qualifications


  • Strong experience with Python, R, or similar analytical languages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large, complex datasets.
  • Solid background in statistics, experimentation (A/B testing), and machine learning.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Ability to turn complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • A passion for education, learning science, or creating positive social impact.


Nice to Have


  • Experience in the edtech or e-learning sector.
  • Knowledge of recommender systems or adaptive learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
